Today's teens face unique issues their parents never faced. Chewing gum and back talking were the BIG issues years ago. Today teens are dealing with drugs, sex, alcohol, and violence everyday.

WE ARE DIFFERENT...ON PURPOSE.
The teens of our church are no different then you. They deal with school, friends, and family problems. We don't just want you to be a part of our youth group, we want to be a part of your life. We are here for you.

HOW IT ALL STARTED.
My Teen Haven is the web site of our teens at Haven of Rest Baptist Church in West Haven, CT. We launched this site as a way to reach teens who are hurting, confused, or simply just looking for something new and different.

THE STUDENT HAS BECOME THE TEACHER
We are thrilled to announce the newest member of the staff. We want to welcome Tom Green as one of our new Friday Night Teachers. Tom is a product of Haven of Rest Baptist Church. He has grown up right through Sunday School, trough the Teens, to the Young adults. Tom is currently attending New England Baptist College in Southington, CT. He has a heart for teens, recently being one of them, and looks forward to ministering each week.
